Why our blend is different:
Protein-Powered Growth: A high-protein mix (~15%) derived from wheat, seeds, and beans. This is the "fuel" worms need for rapid breeding and bulking.
Crushed Oyster Shell: Provides essential grit for the worm’s gizzard to help them digest food properly.
Natural pH Buffer: The calcium in the oyster shells prevents your bedding from turning acidic (sour bin syndrome), creating the perfect environment for your worms to thrive.
Gut-Loading for Pets: If you feed worms to axolotls or reptiles, using this food ensures the worms are packed with vitamins before they become a meal.
How to use (A little goes a long way):
Sprinkle: Lightly dust a small amount onto the surface of the bedding.
Mist: Give it a light spray with water (worms find it easier to eat when damp).
Wait: Don't add more until the previous serving has completely vanished.
Top Tip: To keep your colony at its best, always balance this high-nitrogen food with plenty of carbon, like damp, shredded cardboard.
